Melanie Endicott

Melanie Endicott is Senior Director of International Education & Training for AHIMA International. She has developed education and conducted training around the globe on health information management (HIM) topics such as medical coding, clinical documentation integrity (CDI), and health data analytics.

Prior to joining AHIMA in 2004, Ms. Endicott served as the program director and lead instructor of Spokane Community College and was a health information analyst at a large acute care hospital in Washington State. For the past 20 years, she has been a frequent presenter on coding, CDI, and other HIM topics locally, nationally, and internationally. She has also been an educator in the HIM programs at the University of Cincinnati, Stephens College, and Loma Linda University. Ms. Endicott holds a Master’s of Business Administration and Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s of Health Information Management from Carroll College.
